Due to a case of the chicken pox, Angelina Jolie was unfortunately unable to attend the Los Angeles premiere of her film Unbroken on Monday — but she had some pretty great replacements! The actress’ husband, Brad Pitt, took three of the couple’s children to the red carpet event instead.
Brad, along with his parents, sons Maddox and Pax, and daughter Shiloh, walked the carpet in support of the World War II directed by Angie.
Being just 13, 11 and 8, respectively, the R-rated film was too mature for the Jolie-Pitt kids, who left after posing for photos and listening to a speech praising their mom. Brad stayed behind to watch the movie, which tells the story of Olympic track runner and war hero Louis Zamperini, who survived for 40+ days on a raft after his plane was shot down before being taken in as a prisoner-of-war by the Japanese.
Unbroken hits theaters on Christmas Day.
