There’s a reason they say, “Don’t mess with Texas!” Kelly Clarkson is livid with her husband Brandon Blackstock after discovering that he recently exchanged phone numbers with country cutie Kacey Musgraves.
The Forth Worth native was informed by a pal that Brandon and Kacey were flirting up a storm backstage at the Country Music Awards in Nashville on Nov. 5. “Kelly freaked out,” an insider tells Star. “She was screaming and crying.”
Sources say the mom of daughter River is still insecure after failing to lose most of her pregnancy weight and has now banned Brandon from hanging around Kacey. “Kelly doesn’t want her husband texting a younger, hotter woman,” continues the friend. “And that’s that.”
