The Biebs has charmed himself out of another jail sentence! Justin Bieber reached a plea deal for his January DUI case and will not serve any time behind bars.
Back in January, the now 20-year-old was arrested in Miami after police suspected that he was involved in a street race and had also been drinking. Although the singer initially plead ‘not guilty’ to all charges, he changed his tune when given the opportunity to strike a deal.
On Wednesday, it was disclosed in court that Justin had plead “guilty” to reduced charges of misdemeanor careless driving and resisting arrest to avoid jail time. However, as outlined in the plea, he will have to give a $50,000 charitable donation and complete 12 hours of anger management courses…in addition to paying other fines.
But the hefty fine is nothing new for the “Girlfriend” crooner. Last month, he plead no contest to charges of misdemeanor vandalism for throwing eggs at his former neighbor’s house. He escaped jail time with a plea, but in exchange, was required to pay $80,000 in restitution.
