- Rihanna
may have lousy taste in men, but it’s not making a dent in her spending. With hit singles and hugely successful tours, the Barbados beauty reportedly snags more than $13 million per year. Her favorite splurge? Just about everything! According to a former suit from RiRi’s onetime accountant, shopping sprees, extravagant parties and $2,000-a-week hair-care costs have left her near bankruptcy!
- Jennifer Lawrence
has nudged her way into the very top of the box office, alternating between blockbusters and Oscar bait. Now, she’s earning a reported $26 million per year, and that doesn’t include the $20 million she’s pulling in as the face of Dior. Her favorite splurge? J. Law prides herself on thrifty living, but it’s worth noting that the stained, unwashed teal sports bra worn in her Oscar-winning ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ performance recently sold at an auction for more than $3,000.
- Justin Bieber
has had a rough year, what with all that drag racing, egg-throwing, bucket-peeing, bodyguard-punching and monkey-abandoning. But put away the collection plates: He’s made $80 million already in 2014, mostly from touring, adding to his net wealth of nearly $200 million. His favorite splurge? The Biebs owns at least 10 top-end vehicles, but his absolute fave might be his Audi R8 (base price: $120,000) customized from grill to trunk with leopard spots.
- Julia Louis-Dreyfus
is doing just fine with acting, playing James Gandolfini’s galpal in ‘Enough Said’ and formerly starring on the CBS sitcom ‘The Old Adventures of New Christine’ for five seasons. In the ’90’s, she made a whopping $600,000 per episode of ‘Seinfeld’ and is still raking in a chunk of the record-breaking $3.1 billion the show has generated in royalties since it ended. But that’s pittance: Julia’s dad is a former head of French conglomerate at the Louis Dreyfus Group, which made more than $60 billion in 2013, and Julia stands to inherit nearly $3 billion in addition to her yearly income of $14 million. Her favorite splurge? Julie wants to stay sponge-worthy and reportedly indulges in high-end plastic surgery, including rhinoplasty, frequent Botox and possibly breast implants.
- Leonardo DiCaprio
is on a roll, no matter how you look at it. He took a big gamble — and lower up-front fee — to get ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ made. It became a hit, grossing $392 million, as did ‘The Great Gatsby,’ bringing in $350 million. Leo is clearly the world leader in playing rich dudes from Long Island who splurges on drugs, booze, prostitutes and hit-and-run accidents. No wonder he’s already made an estimated $39 million this year. His favorite splurge? Leo loves his fine art. He’s become a gawked-at fixture at high-end auctions and recently shelled out $735,000 for an unfinished painting by Superflat artist Takashi Murakami.
- Jessica Simpson's
wildly lavish, four-day $1.4 million July Wedding to Eric Johnson included $300,000 spent on munchies alone! But for the Weight Watchers spokesgal, it’s chump change. Her name-brand fashion line has hit an estimated $1 billion in yearly sales! Add in a slew of endorsements and TV hosting gigs, and Jessica pulls in an estimated $18 million per year. Her favorite splurge? Jess shelled out a total of $600 grand for a Porsche 911 for her mom and a Maybach for Papa Joe. Sources say she was making up for her habit of forgetting birthdays.
- Angelina Jolie
is a movie star and mother of six, and also really, really rich. Angie pulls in an estimated $33 million per year for her acting gigs. Her latest movie, ‘Maleficent,’ is one of the biggest hits of a disappointing summer, raking in almost $700 million at the box office worldwide — which means Angie’s asking price is rising fast! Her favorite splurge? She slapped down the black AmEx card for a helicopter and flying lessons for fiance Brad Pitt. Total cost: $1.4 million. Thens he told him he couldn’t fly the thing until he was fully certified.
- Miley Cyrus'
successful ‘Bangerz’ album and accompanying worldwide tour made her a whopping $76.5 million last year. Her favorite splurge? The former ‘Hannah Montana’ star sports the most expensive black nail polish made: Black Diamond, concocted by L.A. jeweler Azature. The luxe lacquer contains 267 carats of, yep, black diamonds, and goes for the bargain price of $250,000.
- Jennifer Lopez
has come a long way since her days on the 6 train! Jenny from the Block presides over an ever-expanding empire of TV shows ,movies, tours, clothing lines and two dozen signature fragrances, adding up to a sweet yearly income of $45 million. She’s one mom who doesn’t mom pampering and spoiling her twins, starting with the $700,000 birthing suite, the $600,000 round-the-clock bodyguards for her kids and a $500 Gucci handbag for daughter Emme.
- Kate Middleton
married Prince William in a reported $30 million wedding in April 2011, but their personal finances are relatively modest. Prince William was left a paltry $10 million by his mom, Princess Diana, and received a $70,000 salary as a Royal Air Force pilot until the end of his service in early 2014. Thankfully, Kate comes from a family worth a reported $50 million. Her favorite splurge? On a recent tour of Australia and New Zealand, Kate was seen sporting an Australian hibiscus brooch made of rubies and diamonds.
- Cameron Diaz
drives a hard bargain! She’s the highest paid over-40 actress in Hollywood, and she’s known to negotiate lower up-front salaries in return for a cut of the back end, which makes her even richer. For example, she took way less than her usual $15 million per picture to make ‘Bad Teacher,’ but wound up netting $42 million from points on the flick. Her favorite splurge? They’re few and far between. As the famously frugal star explains, “I’m not just going to throw my money away. I love to be close to my family and friends, so I spend money on plane tickets, having feasts, buying a ton of groceries and cooking or going out for an amazing meal, knowing I don’t worry about how much the bill costs.”
- Madonna
is still living in the material world! Thanks to megatours, back catalog album sales, a clothing line and her surprisingly successful Truth or Dare fragrance, Madge enjoys monthly paychecks of more than $10 million. For the math challenged : that’s more than $120 million per year! Her favorite splurge? She must be thirsty, because the Queen of Pop spends $10,000 a month on Kabbalah water.
- Kim Kardashian
is fast on her way to being known as one of Hollywood’s richest women. You know all about her TV career and clothing line. But it’s her other ventures — including $10,000 per tweet to hawk brands — that could put her into a whole new tax bracket. Last year Kim cashed a paycheck of more than $28 million. This year: from just her cut of the hit iPhone game ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ alone she could stand to earn $85 million. Her favorite splurge? Gold-plated toilets! Kanye West purchased four of the special commodes, at a total price of $750,000, for their new L.A. mansion.
- Justin Timberlake
roared back onto the music scene in 2013 with his double platinum album ‘The 20/20 Experience.’ After tour receipts were in, the singing-dancing-acting phenom proved he’s still in sync with what people want, watching his annual income hit a cool $31 million. His favorite splurge? Homeboy is seriously into home furnishings! “I redid my house in Los Angeles, which was not cheap,” he told ‘Playboy.’ “A whole lot of my money goes into art and interior design. My friends saw it when it was finally done, and they definitely oohed and aahed.”
- Beyonce
released a surprise album on iTunes, followed by a megasuccessful 132-date Mrs. Carter Show, bringing in $57 million. Forbes named her the world’s most powerful celebrity. Her favorite splurge? Bubbly! Mr. and Mrs. Jay Z love the stuff, especially Armand de Brignac’s signature champagne, Ace of Spades.
- Katy Perry

And lucy for her, ex-husband Russell Brand turned down the $20 million he could’ve received in their divorce.

- Ashton Kutcher

- Khloe Kardashian
has 10.7 million Twitter followers, and she uses that power to earn a whopping $13,000 each time she endorses a product on her feed!
