There’s a format shakeup coming on The Voice! Next week, the show’s pre-taped Battle Rounds will continue, and once those are complete, the remaining contestants will compete in the Battles: Round Two.
This round will be similar to the Knockout Round from Seasons 3, 4 and 5. The four coaches, Shakira, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Usher, will split up their remaining team members into pairs, who will compete against one another by singing one final song before the Live Playoffs.
Joining all four coaches will be Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who will act as an advisor for help with vocal techniques, stage presence and more. The Battles: Round Two will begin on March 31.
