2014 will mean a fresh start for Khloe Kardashian, who spent much of this past year trying to save her troubled marriage to Lamar Odom before eventually filing for divorce. While she’s so far admitted that the process has been “heartbreaking,” the reality star has opened up to British Cosmopolitan more about the troubling time and what she hopes will come in the New Year.
“I love the new year, new beginnings,” she told the mag. “I need a good, fresh start. I’m excited for this year to be over with. You only live once, so let’s make that one time perfect. We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let’s have fun. You get what you give out in life.”
Things might have ended poorly for Khloe and the basketball player, after his alleged drug use and multiple affairs, but she has no regrets about their four years of marriage. “I don’t regret anything about my life,” she admitted. “My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I’m very happy with who I am. No matter if it’s great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly, it happens — and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things.”
Since the divorce filing in mid-December, Khloe has been spending a lot of time with her family. Keep up with what they’ve been up to recently with our weekly Instagram round-up!
