Ben Affleck has infuriated several Las Vegas casinos who have accused him of cheating!
On April 29, an alert was sent out on the casinos’ Surveillance Information Network (SIN), which warned other casinos that, on April 28, the actor was “moving his money with the count” and using “perfect basic” (a common term used in introductory card counting) during Blackjack. He was also observed taking insurance according to the count and using black $100 cheques to keep track of the count while playing.
An alert flier, obtained by Star, specifically states that Ben Affleck is “currently suspected of advantage play.”
“While playing at a table, Ben was asked repeatedly to stop card counting, however, he would not stop,” a Vegas source tells Star. “The casino staff told Ben that he was being too obvious.”
But the trouble didn’t start there. Another alert revealed that the 41-year-old was being “too obvious” moving his money with the count the week before, as well. “He was spreading $100-$10,000 on the double decks and $50-$20,000 on the shoe games,” the document said. An insider adds that, “Putting out a spread of that much is absolutely unheard of and absurd.”
“Ben is making a terrible name for himself in Vegas,” the source adds. “He definitely appears to have a gambling problem.”
After the April 28 incident, Ben was asked to leave the Hard Rock Casino and was banned from playing anymore games.
