There was no shortage of dancing for Taylor Swift at the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday. In fact, the singer got so into some of the night’s performances, that her dress snapped!
“It broke,” the 24-year-old’s friend and tour mate, Ed Sheeran, revealed. “There was this country song and she was dancing like Rick Ross and it snapped. It wasn’t really a wardrobe malfunction…it’s what’s meant to happen to a dress like that. You’re not meant to stay in that sort of dress.”
The “Lego House” singer clarified, though, that his pal’s moves are NOT considered twerking. “Twerking is what strippers do,” he scoffed. “It’s a fact. If you go to a strip club, not that I go to strip clubs, but if you go to a strip club — they twerk.”
Clearly, Ed’s not a fan of the dance move, and even called out a particular singer who uses it often. “You shouldn’t be encouraging little kids to twerk!” he added. “Stop doing this, Miley Cyrus, please. Stop. Stop. Sing Wrecking Ball. Wrecking Ball is a great song.”
