She didn’t take home any awards at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, but Taylor Swift still managed to be one of the night’s most memorable attendees. The singer had three defining moments from the show that everyone seems to be talking about the morning after.
1. Performance of “All Too Well”
The fans spoke…and their idol has delivered. After thousands of requests that she play the song “All Too Well” at the big show, Taylor delivered a stripped down performance of the emotional song, which is rumored to be about ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. From the head-banging to the straight-on camera glares, she definitely got her message across!
2. Dancing to Imagine Dragons & Kendrick Lamar
It’s not every day you get a front row seat to the biggest concert of the year — and the 24-year-old made sure to take full advantage of that. While Kendrick Lamar joined Imagine Dragons on stage for a mashup of “Radioactive” and “MAAD City,” the camera panned to Taylor and her hardcore dance movies several times.
3. Mistaken Reaction During Album of the Year Announcement
The “22” singer was up for the night’s biggest honor, Album of the Year, for her 2012 hit record Red. Unfortunately, she had a momentary embarrassing moment when she thought she’d been called as the winner…and she just about put her best *shocked* face on display. Almost immediately, though, she did realize it was actually Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories that won, and began to politely applaud.
Hey, if it makes you feel better, Tay — your dad’s false reaction was a lot more obvious!
