Jenna Dewan Dishes on Channing Tatum's Parenting

Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan

Talk about a lucky mama! Channing Tatum might be a busy guy, but that doesn’t mean his wife, Jenna Dewan, is stuck raising their daughter, Everly, on her own.

The actress sat down with Ellen DeGeneres in an interview airing Wednesday, during which she gushes on her hubby’s parenting skills. “He’s amazing,” she admits. “It’s funny, he’s so sensitive. He’s like this really strong, big guy in life, but then you give him this baby and he’s like ‘Oh my God! Is she going to drop?! Am I doing everything okay?!”

And while most new dad’s (Everly is just four months old) might try and steer clear of diaper duty, Jenna reveals that the task is actually Channing’s strong suit. “He’s the most amazing diaper changer,” she says. “It’s like the one thing he knows he can do so he’s like, ‘Let me get in there, let me change those diapers!'”

Additionally, the White House Down star has a pretty special talent to get his daughter to calm down. “As new mama’s know, the baby’s crying, and you’re like, ‘What do I do — just make her stop crying!'” Jenna explains. “And then all of a sudden he starts beatboxing and she’ll just fall asleep in his arms.”

That’s a skill we’ll have to see for ourselves…
