In a dreadful turn of events, a 21-year-old man was found dead in Demi Moore’s swimming pool early on Sunday morning, July 19.
The man has been identified as Edenilson Steven Valle. There’re currently no further details about him, and no confirmation on whether he’s a friend of one of Moore’s children – but neither Demi, nor any of her three daughters Rumor Willis, Talulah Willis or Scout Willis were home at the time of the tragedy. Update: The coroner’s office ruled Valle’s death as accidental, saying Valle didn’t know how to swim, according to KTLA and Lt. Fred Corral. There is still no clear answer to how he knows any of the Moore family members at this point.

According to neighbors, there was a small gathering at the home, which began the prior evening. Sergeant Barry Montgomery reported that toward the end of the party, “several witnesses stated they located and found the victim in the pool unresponsive.” Although 911 rushed to the scene and tried to revive the man, they were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead shortly after.
