Kim Kardashian’s Doctor Orders Her To Stop Snapping Selfies!

Her wrist pain is caused by her famous photos — but she works her way around it.

Kim Kardashian has taken so many selfies she’s put her health at risk! That’s the word from her doctor, who gave her a brace for her wrist pain and specific instructions about how she has to hold her phone. Watch the clip above to find out just what’s going on.

In the clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality star, 37, tells sister Khloe and mom Kris Jenner that her doctor has given her strict orders about taking her favorite photos. “My hand hurts. I forgot my brace,” she explains.

But the social media queen has a workaround! She calls over Paxy, a member of the KUWTK crew. She has her act as her selfie assistant, holding the phone so she can take a video promoting her KKW Fragrance Valentine’s Day launch. Paxy, who’s laden with camera equipment for the show, daintily holds the phone, saving Kim’s delicate wrist. Who knew a Kim Kardashian selfie took so much work?

“The doctor says I can only hold my phone like this,” Kim says. “So, I’m having Paxy take my pics so I can rest my hands.”

Kris and Khloe are both horrified and jealous. Khloe, who was pregnant with baby True at the time, just sits on the couch, mouth agape.

“Paxy should be on your payroll,” the momager suggests. But while she tells Kim it’s “crazy,” she sort of likes the idea.

“It’ll protect Kim’s hand without missing a beat on social media,” Kris tells the camera. “I’m definitely gonna poach Paxy to be my selfie assistant.” But of course, Kris doesn’t post quite as many selfies as her famous daughter.

Kim doesn’t say in the video what problem her doctor’s diagnosed her with, but tech-related injuries are becoming more common. Hoda Kotb famously said her doctor diagnosed her with “selfie elbow.” There’s also “text claw” and “iPad hand,” and lots of people have aggravated carpal tunnel syndrome from typing all day at work.

Do you think Kim needs a “selfie assistant”? Sound off in the comments!
