Kim Kardashian has been tired of Tristan Thompson ever since his cheating scandal broke in April. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has vocally wanted Khloe to move on. But in a sneak peek of this Sunday’s episode, the beauty mogul worries that her little sister has picked Tristan over her and is living a “double life.” Watch the clip above to find out what’s going on — and to hear Scott Disick’s surprisingly good advice.
In the episode, Khloe, 34, has returned to California after giving birth to True in Cleveland. But she didn’t exactly come running into her sisters’ arms.
“I feel like Khloe is living a full double life,” Kim, 38, told Scott. “She’s in town and I just haven’t seen her.”
“I feel like Tristan is here and she’s so nervous for him and I to see each other.” If she is nervous, the Good American designer isn’t wrong to be. Kim had two heated showdowns with Tristan in Ohio.
Kim’s conscious of her culpability in the tension, though. “I feel like I get into this protection mode where I just like, go into worst case scenario,” Kim admitted to Scott.
“I think sometimes, when people get too caught up when it’s a negative protection and not always being there for the positive, then everybody feels kind of like, attacked,” he replied
“Is it annoying when family members start ganging up on you?” Kim asked Scott, who was together with Kourtney Kardashian for nine years.
“Listen, no matter what you say to somebody when there’s something happening in their life, it’s not actually going to be taken in,” Scott said, explaining the uselessness of giving people relationship advice.
“I know back in the day when your mom or Khloé would get involved in me and Kourtney’s stuff, it only would draw us farther away from the family,” he continued.
“It never pulled anybody in and made people more comforted,” he explained. “And now, look — you’re being protective because you love your sister, but guess what? Now your sister is in Calabasas, flew home, and doesn’t want to see you. So it’s like, what did you solve?”
Kim has to realize that Scott’s right. She eventually did change her tune at least a little, making nice with Tristan and Khloe’s birthday party in June. At the same time, she’s allegedly ready to set Khloe up with someone new.
