Tina Knowles Had No Makeup Artist For An Event — So Her Granddaughter Blue Ivy Stepped In

Blue Ivy might be busy on tour with her superstar mom Beyoncé — but she still makes sure to give her grandmother a hand!

On Thursday, June 26, Tina Knowles, 71, shared a sweet video to Instagram, of her eldest granddaughter, 13, doing her makeup.

In the video, the Blue Ivy’s hands appear to be applying the finishing touches of lipstick for Tina’s full glam look.

“Today I wanted to attend the @bluemarineparis runway show to see my grandson @iamjulezjsmith walk in the show! !” wrote Tina in the caption of the video. “I did not have a Makeup Artist so I asked my talented granddaughter Blue Ivy to do my makeup. She did a fabulous job. ❤️❤️ what yal [sic]l think?”

Famous friends flooded the comment section in support of Blue Ivy’s work.

“WHOA!!,” commented former Destiny’s Child singer  Kelly Rowland, 44.

“Blue does it all!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽,” commented Zatima actress Crystal Renee Hayslett.

Fans also inquired on the post about Blue’s future endeavors.

“@mstinaknowles when is Blue makeup line coming 👀👀☺️☺️☺️,” one wrote

‘I pray Blue bless[es] us with a makeup line in the future because I know it will be beautiful!” added a second fan.

Another fan joked about Blue Ivy’s reputation amongst the Beyhive of being her mom  Beyoncé’s “manager.”

“Blue is on tour and still making time for her other clients. A manager who cares👏🏽,” they wrote.

It’s not the first time Tina has turned to her granddaughter for help getting ready.

In April, Tina shared a video to her Instagram, revealing that her  “beauty guru and my manager, Miss Blue Ivy Carter has instructed me that I need to dye my eyebrows because they have little gray streaks in them.”

While Blue Ivy is no stranger to giving her grandmother advice, Tina says that the teen doesn’t ask her for any in return —  that’s reserved for Beyoncé, 43.

“Her and her mother are really tight, and so they don’t need me to give much advice,” Tina shared during a  February appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show. “They tell me to mind my business.”

Tina — who’s also mom to daughter Solange, 39, with ex Matthew Knowles — has four grandchildren including Beyoncé’s twins and Rumi and Sir, 8, as well as Solange’s son Julez Smith, 20.
