‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Resurfaces For the First Time After Stepping Away From the Spotlight

Teen Mom 2 alum Jeremy Calvert has resurfaced for the first time in six years while launching a new Instagram profile.

Calvert — the ex-husband of Leah Messer— shared a series of photos over the weekend including selfies that show off his grey hair and tattoo sleeves.

“It’s about time for some hair dye,” he captioned one post. Other photos showed the former reality star at work as a pipeliner, which he says, “Takes ya away from everything for months on end but it provides your family with everything they need.”

Calvert, 36, and Messer, 33, began dating in August 2011 after meeting on Facebook. Things moved quickly as they announced they were expecting a child together that December. The 16 & Pregnant star — who was already mother to twins Aleeah and Aliannah with ex-husband Corey Simms — later revealed she had an abortion, despite previously explaining she had miscarried.

The couple went on to tie the knot in April 2012 and welcomed their daughter, Addie, in February 2013. They divorced just two years later.

After briefly reconciling and getting flirty in front of the cameras in 2019, Messer shut down romance rumors.

“This will NEVER happen! Jeremy is Adalynn’s dad, just as Corey is the twins’ dad,” Leah responded to a fan’s comment, according to The Sun. “We all get along very well and put our daughter’s best interest first. I prefer to keep it that way.”
