According to a report published by TMZ on Wednesday, June 24, the network is in talks to premiere the formerly axed season in July. Despite being pulled just two days before its original March 22 debut, editors continued to cut the episodes, the outlet reported.
While no decision has been made as of yet, ABC is reportedly conducting audience testing to gauge the public’s opinion about the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.
That incident, which took place in 2023, showed Paul hurling a metal barstool at Mortensen and inadvertently hitting her then-5-year-old daughter, Indy, whom she shares with ex-husband Tate.

At the time, Paul was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence in the presence of a child. She ultimately pleaded guilty in abeyance in August 2023 to a third-degree felony count of aggravated assault. She received three years probation and was ordered to abstain from alcohol and illegal drugs.
The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced in April that Paul would not face charges in connection with the two 2026 domestic violence investigations, per The Salt Lake City Tribune.
