Sydney Sweeney may have A-list hunks pining over her, but she’s put her dating life on hold for the foreseeable future following her high-profile split from fiancé Jonathan Davino.
“She was in a relationship with Jonathan for so long, she just wants space to find her footing again,” a source exclusively tells Star of the Euphoria actress, 27. “She swore to herself she would take her time, so as tempting as some of these guys are, she’s sticking to her guns.”
“There’s been a parade of eligible bachelors trying to shoot their shot — everyone has heard about her and Tom Brady dancing in Venice,” the insider adds.
Sweeney and Brady, 47, were seen chatting it up and dancing at the wedding of Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos on June 27, according to TMZ, although tipsters told the outlet he was cutting loose with “everyone” during the star-studded event.
The retired NFL legend and his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and welcoming two children together.
As for Sweeney, the Echo Valley actress called off her engagement to Davino in March and has since been embracing the single life, igniting romance rumors with her former Anyone But You costar Glen Powell. (Both have repeatedly clarified that they just have a platonic relationship).

In an interview with The Times published on May 31, Sweeney confirmed her breakup. When asked by the publication if she is planning a wedding, she simply replied, “No.”
“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends,” Sweeney explained at the time. “And I’m loving it.”
According to the insider, Sweeney isn’t rushing into love again anytime soon.
“She is the toast of the town and the pressure that comes with that is very high. She’s very afraid of making the wrong move,” the source says. “Her eyes are on a huge career and she wants to zero in her focus — starting up another romance right now is not the wise move.”
While securing a number of acting roles, Sweeney has also been landing lucrative gigs on the side – including partnering with Dr. Squatch to create a soap made from her bathwater and a collaboration with Baskin-Robbins.
“Her bankability is very high as this single hot woman [so] she wants to capitalize on that,” the insider adds. “She’s got her own production company and is making lots of moves right now — she doesn’t have the time to properly date.”
