Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni may have settled their It Ends With Us legal war, but the drama continues.
In a report published Friday, October 9, Page Six revealed private text message exchanges between Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and author Colleen Hoover regarding the It Ends With Us actor and director, 42.
“It’s amazing to me that you can have everybody involved with a production completely run away from a person who is obviously a predator and sociopath and the narrative must first land on why a woman is the problem,” the Deadpool & Wolverine actor, 49, texted Hoover, 46, on August 10, 2024.
At the time, the 2024 romantic drama film had just been released in the United States, and Lively, 39, and Baldoni were raising eyebrows for their odd behavior during the movie’s press tour.

Months later, the film’s leading actress claimed Baldoni inappropriately improvised on the set of It Ends With Us, making her feel uncomfortable.
“It’s amazing to me how low people still go,” Reynolds wrote to Hoover, per Page Six. “But people are already coming forward and soon enough someone is just gonna go on record.”
In another message sent on August 9, 2024, to his agent, Warren Zavala, Reynolds called Baldoni a “human rounding error.”

Lively sued Baldoni and others, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation, claims that he denied. Baldoni filed a countersuit against Lively, her husband Reynolds and their publicist for extortion and defamation, but it was dismissed by a judge.
Lively and Baldoni reached an agreement in May before their case was set to go to trial in New York City, and the actress hit the Met Gala red carpet shortly after the settlement was revealed.
