Prince Harry appears to be following his late mother Princess Diana’s example in raisingPrince Archie and Princess Lilibet with wife Meghan Markle.
“Harry got so much love and TLC from his mom growing up,” a source tells Star. “She was such a hands-on parent and he’s used that as the model for his parenting style.”
On Thursday, April 2, Markle, 44, posted a video to Instagram of Harry, 41, teaching “quick learner” Archie, 6, how to ski, guiding him down the snowy slopes on a recent family getaway.
“He’s always playing with his kids,” says the source. “He’s not one of these dads that sits back and lets his wife do it all. He wants to have that special bond with Archie and Lili just as much as Meghan does.”

According to the source, nothing brings Harry more joy than being a father.
“It’s something he’s always wanted, but it’s exceeded his expectations,” says Star’s source. “Now that Archie is a little older, he’s really enjoying introducing him to all his favorite sports, not just skiing.”
The Duke of Sussex is also teaching his son to ride horses and play soccer, the source reveals.
“Archie is a natural athlete, just like Harry always was, so he’s nurturing that in a big way,” says the source. “The fact that Harry’s relationship with his own dad [King Charles III] is so strained right now only makes him more grateful to have such a close relationship with his son.”
