Prince Harry Begs Wife Meghan Markle to ‘Slow Down’ Amid Multiple Business Ventures (Exclusive)

Prince Harry is pleading with wife Meghan Markle to “slow down” as she continues to add projects to her already-full plate, an insider exclusively tells Star.

“Meghan’s up until all hours, taking meetings, working every angle she can to expand her empire,” the insider says. “She’s obsessed with this idea of becoming this huge mogul, but instead of focusing on one thing she’s trying to do it all. The word is she’s now planning to launch a make-up line to try and capitalize on that trend.”

According to the insider Meghan, 44, is trying to become the next Martha Stewart, but with a splash of Kim Kardashian and a hint of Anna Wintour.

“As far as Harry’s concerned it’s way too much,” the insider continues. “He’s worried she’s burning out and losing sight of what actually makes her happy. She keeps saying all this work is for their future and for the kids, but her crazy schedule is taking so much of her time and attention, she hardly seems present for the day to day.”

Meghan has been busy since stepping away from royal duties in 2020. Following their move to the States, Meghan and Harry, 41, launched a podcast, a nonprofit organization and landed a deal with Netflix. The former Suits star later debuted her lifestyle brand American Rivera Orchard – later rebranded to As Ever.

As Star previously reported. Meghan’s recent trip to Paris for Fashion Week had her “buzzing” to get a meeting with the former Vogue editor, 75.

“She’s hoping they can sit down together in the very near future and cook up some business together,” a source said at the time.

If Harry has anything to say about it, however, Meghan would be slowing down.

“She won’t hear it, she’s convinced she’s finally being taken seriously in the business world and she wants to keep the momentum going,” the insider tells Star. “She has such huge ambitions but all Harry wants is to relax and enjoy the life they’ve built.”
