The Big Apple seemed to take a toll on Prince Harry during a recent visit to New York with wife Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in town on October 13 to accept the Humanitarians of the Year Award during the World Mental Health Festival.
One eyewitness told the Daily Mail how the royal couple looked, with the prince, 41, appearing exhausted.
“You got the impression his life had taken a wrong turn,” the eyewitness noticed. “Harry just looked sad, anxious and tired. He obviously hates speaking in front of a crowd.”
The person was sitting in the audience at the event where the two took the stage to talk on behalf of their Archwell Foundation.

The organization had sponsored three panels at the event, with Harry and the former Suits star, 44, speaking in front of the crowd for each.
“It felt so bleak. No crowds to greet them. And was very businesslike between the two of them. Was so interesting to see them in person,” another eyewitness claimed.
Meghan shared some behind-the-scenes footage of their trip on Instagram, posting a clip earlier this week.
Dinah Washington‘s hit single “If I Were A Bell” played in the background alongside a montage of clouds from an airplane.
Markle added a shot of NYC-themed cookies, including a taxi and an emoji.
The former actress also posted a snapshot showing a row of clothes, colorful heels and a vanity full of makeup for the event.
“Until the next time, NYC – thanks for the memories! (You really know how to charm a gal),” Meghan captioned the Reel.
