'Flawed' Selma Blair Gives An Alarming Statement Amid Bizarre Blackout Scandal — Is She Ok?

Selma Blair made headlines on June 22, after she was rushed to the hospital after a bizarre medical episode on an airplane.

The actress suffered from a massive meltdown after she admittedly mixed pills with alcohol during her flight from Cancun, Mexico to Los Angeles.  

"He burns my private parts. He won't let me eat or drink,"  she reportedly blasted during her boozy breakdown.

Selma talked to Vanity Fair in order to apologize for her highly publicized stint. “I made a big mistake yesterday. After a lovely trip with my son and his Dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret," the star's statement read.  

"I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident," she lamented.

To make matters worse, Selma's scandalous scene took place in the presence of the actress' 4-year-old son, Arthur, though the star maintains he was sleeping at the time and missed the whole thing. "My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace."  

The People v. O.J. Simpson star went on to apologize to the flights passengers and crew and to thank those who lent her a hand in her hour of need.  

"I am truly very sorry,” she concluded.
