Caught In A Lie? Kim Richards Tells A Bizarre Tale About What Really Happened The Night Of Her Drunken Hotel Arrest

The 51-year-old sat down with Andy Cohen for a special episode of Watch What Happens Live, and finally confessed what happened when she was arrested at the Polo Lounge last April.

“You know, I drank that night,” she confessed, despite that she had been "working a program" for three and a half years.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said that she was taking care of her sick son while also caring for her ailing ex-husband, Monty Brinson — and the pressure became too much for her.

“I was taking care of other people and I stopped taking care of myself," she admitted, saying that she "had a glass of wine with a girlfriend. Just a glass of wine at home" before her arrest.

The night of her arrest, she said she was at her daughter Brooke Wiederhorn's house — and had a drink while watching RHOBH reunion episodes. She claims she then snuck out of the house, but soon realized she couldn't drink and drive. “I felt horribly guilty,” she said, and pulled into the Beverly Hills Hotel since none of the staff "knew [her] there."

The staff then informed her that the Polo Lounge was closed, but she begged to go inside. “I’m just going to sit in my booth…Please…I’m staying…I can’t drive…I’m scared,” she says she told them.

But then a manager said he was going to call the police — and the reality star "thought he was joking."

A source told RadarOnline a different story — claiming that the former child star was heavily drinking vodka tonics at the bar in the Polo Lounge until after midnight when a bartender informed her she had to leave. Kim then locked herself in the bathroom, and the police were called. When they arrived, she kicked the officer and spent the night in jail.

Kim was later sentenced to three years probation, 52 AA classes and 30 days community labor.
