“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace, London,” Kensington Palace announced in a statement.

“Prince Louis will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend
Justin Welby,” the statement continued. Justin also officiated the christenings of Louis’ siblings,
Prince George, 4, and
Princess Charlotte, 3.

Although royal christening services are private events, the family typically appears before the cameras on the way into and out of the chapel so we're hoping to get another glimpse of the newborn!

The couple have kept the adorable 2-month-old under wraps after his initial appearance, when he was seen in his mothers arms as the pair left the hospital on the day of his birth.

And the only other time we've gotten a look at him other than that was when the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge shared two photos of him that were displayed on Kensington Palace's Twitter account back in May.
