Kate Hudson’s 15-Year-Old Son Calls Her Out For Posting Family Video

Kate Hudson posted a sweet tribute to her brother Oliver in honor of his 43rd birthday on September 7. In the clip, Kate, 40, and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa gathered with her four kids to singer “Happy Birthday” for the actor. But her eldest son, Ryder, took issue with his mom posting the clip.

Kate wrote in the caption under the sweet video, “To a man who deserves a huge hip hip hooray for the day he was born! @theoliverhudson you are a special human and we are so grateful for your commitment to being the best human you could possibly be and that we get the benefits of your awesomeness, love and laughter. Love you bro!”

In the video, Kate and Danny, 33, sat on the couch with Ryder, 15, Bingham, 8, and Rani, 11 months, as they celebrated Oliver. Most of the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star’s followers loved the post, but Ryder took issue with the peak into the family’s life.

“Mom you didn’t ask me if you could post this,” the teen commented. But he added a crying with laughter emoji, so he was probably OK with it in the end. Kate responded to her eldest with a heart face emoji.
