Jessica Simpson celebrated her husband, Eric Johnson, and his fortieth birthday this weekend with her kids, Maxwell, 7, Ace, 6, and baby Birdie, 6 months. But Birdie wasn’t exactly feeling the love. In the photo Jessica, 39, posted, Birdie was crying her eyes out in her mom’s arms.
In the pic, the whole sat sits around Eric’s birthday cake, which featured Oreos and green frosting. Ace was perched in his dad’s lap, wearing a Lakers jersey. Eric had his arm around Maxie, who sat on the bench. But everyone was distracted by crying Birdie, who Jessica held in her arms.
The “With You” singer wrote in the caption, “Not everyone’s all smiles about dad turning 40 ?.”
Jessica posted a second photo from the festivities of her and Eric, who she married in 2014. The former reality star wrote in the caption, “Happy 40th Birthday to the man of my dreams. I pray in every lifetime I find you and we re-create the beauty of what we have again and again.”

She continued, “My hero, champion, best friend, lover, and daddy to our babies...I could never have hoped for more. I love you. Let’s celebrate.”
