In April of 2008, police noticed a man and his acquaintance in Central Park at 3:40 a.m. (the park is closed from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.) The police thought it would be a simple loitering arrest, but when the search began on Quest, they found drugs, a sex toy a lariat used in a way that would make a cowboy blush.

Reports say Quest had a rope tied around his neck and the other end of the knot wrapped around his genitals. What's more, the sex toy was hidden in one of his boots and Richards willingly admitted: "I've got some meth in my pocket."

Richard Quest Turning His Life Around
"I got myself into a very nasty situation. I don't blame anyone else for what took place," Richard, who has publicly come out as gay, later admitted. "But I got back from that position because of other people... It was a deeply regrettable incident that one gets through—I got through—with the help and support of many people from colleagues [to] family."
