Unhappy Ever After? Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson's Awkward Tension At A Party Blows Up

Jessica, 35, and Eric, 36, left Linda Perry's party on Jan. 5 looking unhappier than ever.

"They hardly said a word to each other all night. It was clear they weren't getting along," a source revealed to Star.

"On the way out, Eric reached for Jessica's hand, but she kept it planted in her pocket until the valet arrived," the insider revealed.

The source added that Jessica is struggling to balance parenting their kids Maxwell Drew, 3, and Ace Knute, 2, while working on her fashion line, and Eric isn't doing much to help!

"Jessica honestly doesn't know what Eric does all day," the source revealed of the retired sports star. "She's grown resentful, and she's not even bothering to hide it anymore."
