Coco Austin was on the receiving end of some intense mom shaming after she posted photos of herself breastfeeding her daughter, Chanel, who’ll turn 4 this November. But when the trolls came out of the woodwork, husband Ice-T came to her defense, knocking them down on Twitter.
In the photos she put on Instagram, Coco, 40, sat on a private jet with Chanel spread out on her lap. Coco’s shirt was pulled up so her only daughter could breastfeed.
She began the caption, “Mother’s calling…. I’m so blessed to have this unbelievable experience in this thing called Nursing.”
She explained, “I had a hard time breastfeeding the 1st week of when Chanel was born, I almost gave up but my family told me to hang for another week. They told me I don’t want to miss this special moment you have with your child.. health wise and bond wise..I hung in there and now almost 4 years later Chanel still wants the boob.”
Coco said, “It’s more of a comfort thing now and of course she eats regular but nap time and nighttime are our time and I’m lucky she hasn’t grown out it yet because when that moment comes I will be so sad..it’s the best feeling and ALL mothers that nurse know.”
She signed off with the hashtag “#normalizebreastfeeding,” but a lot of her followers were not on board with her message at all.
