Fans have been worried about pop star Britney Spears for weeks. Last month, she went into treatment for mental health issues which were exacerbated by her dad Jamie’s health crisis. But some thought that she was actually being held against her will, thanks to the conservatorship her dad has had over her since 2008. This sparked the #FreeBritney movement. She continued, “My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal, but don’t worry. I’ll be back very soon.”

She said, “These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago... I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address.”
