The 28-year-old musician is opening up in great detail about what it was really like living with arguably the most famous person in the world in the latest episode of Call Her Daddy, released on Wednesday, August 12.
When host Alex Cooper asked what scared her as a kid, Paris responded, “Spiders, loss, but I don’t know if that was scary. I always felt protected.”
“We always had security. Sometimes crowds would get a little crazy but there’s still an adult you can grab onto,” she recalled.
Paris also touched on wearing a mask while out in public as a child. It was a rule her siblings — older brother Prince and younger brother Bigi — also abided by.

“It just made sense because it was like, ‘Oh yeah, if you do this now, then you can go to Chuck-E-Cheese and be normal this weekend because no one will know who you are,'” Paris recalled. “That made sense to me.”
Of course, Paris had a rare firsthand experience of fame, as her childhood was shaped by not only her father’s intense fame but also his death in 2009. Being in the public eye at such a young age gave her experiences many people will never endure. Now, she’s grateful for them.
“What’s also so cool about all of it is seeing how my experience can assist other people. I have a few other people in my life that are in pretty similar situations that are several years younger than me and I just get to be a friend and my phone’s on and that is the coolest thing.”

“Whether it’s a female with certain scary experiences, or, you know, being in the public eye from such a young age, or being someone in recovery. I have all these experiences I can use to give other people,” she added.
Paris went on to share that she “never” tells people what to do. “But if they ask me I’m like, ‘Well, this is what worked for me and what didn’t work for me. Do with it as you will.'”
She concluded that it’s taken “a very long time” for her to get to the headspace she’s currently in.
And soon, Paris will once again remind the world that she’s following in her father’s footsteps. On Friday, August 21, she will release her second studio album, Happiest Day of My Life.
