Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘Being Pulled’ in ‘Different Directions’ Amid Her Acting Return (Exclusive)

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have different priorities at the moment, according to a source.

A source tells Star the Sussexes are “both being pulled in totally different directions right now.”

The source explains the Spare author, 41, wants “to spend more time in the UK whilst mending fences with the royals,” as he finally reunited with his father, King Charles III, in September, ending their 19-month estrangement.

As for the With Love Meghan star, 44, the source says, “she thinks Harry’s living in the past,” noting the former Suits alum’s focus is on acting.

“Meghan’s throwing herself into the entertainment world and wants as little as possible to do with England or the Royal Family,” the source claims.

“This is just the start for her as far as acting roles, she’s putting herself forward for other parts,” the source adds.

As Star reported last week, Meghan was spotted on set in Pasadena, California, for the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film Close Personal Friends, according to The Sun. The outlet reported that Meghan is playing herself in the movie.

“She has been swamped with offers but this one felt right,” a source told The Sun. “It is Meghan’s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set.”

An insider also spoke to People about Meghan’s time on set.

“She has a small part. She seemed very relaxed and happy,” the insider revealed. “She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth.”
