Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts and More Boss Up in Ryan Murphy’s Star-Studded ‘All’s Fair’
The trailer was Hulu’s most-watched ever, with more than 57.3 million views in just its first 24 hours. And with a script by Ryan Murphy and starring aspiring-attorney-in-real-life Kim Kardashian as Allura Grant, Esq., the show is destined to be just as hugely popular.
It’s the story of a group of extremely powerful and improbably well-dressed female divorce lawyers — Allura, Liberty Ronson (Naomi Watts) and Emerald Green (Niecy Nash-Betts) — who leave their male-dominated firm to open their own practice. Their firm’s goal is to help wealthy divorcées extract maximum cash and inflict maximum suffering on their cheating, controlling and/or plain old cruel husbands.
The drama is ratcheted up when Carr (Sarah Paulson), a barbed-tongued attorney from another firm, takes on Allura’s soon-to-be-ex as a client.
There’s lots of Murphy’s trademark cutting catty dialogue, like when Carr responds to a threat from Emerald by saying, “Enough edging, counselor, let’s come already.”
Court is about to be in session and we can’t wait!
