Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau ‘Constantly in Contact’ Despite Not Spending ‘a Lot of Time Together’

Katy Perry has been on the road with her Lifetimes tour since she began dating Justin Trudeau, but the pair have managed to keep the romance thriving, according to The Sun.

“They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together as she’s on tour, but they’re constantly in contact — always FaceTiming and messaging each other,” a source told the outlet.

The pair first sparked relationship rumors in July when they were seen on a dinner date in Montreal, where he was also spotted at her concert. Last month, the former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, was photographed embracing the pop star, 40, aboard her yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

“He’s a bit of a geek and can’t believe someone as famous and glamorous as Katy is interested in him, whereas she’s flattered such a respected politician wants to date her,” the source told The Sun.

“Katy’s thrilled about this,” an insider previously told Star. “It’s all very new, but it’s hard to imagine a more exciting guy to be wooed by than Justin Trudeau, at least in her eyes. It’s such a great boost for her ego.”

The “Firework” singer confirmed her split from her longtime fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares daughter Daisy, 5, in July. Father of three Trudeau has been separated from wife Sophie since 2023.
