Sweetin, 44, appeared on the Tuesday, April 21 episode of the McBride Rewind podcast, where she discussed her life as well as some of the causes that she supports. The former Fuller House actress has been known to publicly show her support for climate change and diversity initiatives, the LGBTQIA+ community, women’s rights and other causes typically associated with left-leaning politics.
However, Sweetin said on the show that she doesn’t have any animosity toward her former costar despite their differing beliefs.
“They pit me and Candace against each other, and the thing is, at the end of the day, her name has never come out of my mouth,” Sweetin said.

“This is just who I am and what I believe, and if that isn’t something we share, cool. I’m not going to change anything,” the mom of two continued. “I can still have a relationship with her where I can hug her when I see her. I love her. I don’t want bad things to happen to her. I will respect her and her ability to do whatever.”
“But I’m a loud bh that just disagrees with a lot of things and that’s just who I am. And that’s totally OK,” she added. “I don’t think we hang out in too many of the same places where it… We do pretty different things. And that’s OK. She does her, I do me and that’s really the way it’s always been.”
Sweetin added that Bure took it well when she would “poke at her” on the set of the reboot Fuller House, which they starred on together from 2016 to 2020, about her beliefs.
“I don’t hate you. We just don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things that I find important, and that’s OK,” she concluded.
