Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, is a transformational coach and hypnotherapist — and she’s reaping the benefits, a source tells Star.
“Jim has really brought a sense of calm into Jen’s life,” says the source. “His big focus is mindfulness and he’s really helping Jen go more in that direction.”
“As successful as she is, Jen has always been very hard on herself and that’s something they’re working on,” adds the source.
Aniston, 56, opened up to Today about her wellness routine in April. “The world is a little bit crazy right now, and people are struggling with a lot of stress and anxiety. But just take five minutes, or if you have 20, even better. Do some breath work. If you have a mantra, dial into that or something to center yourself,” she told the outlet, adding that “dabbled” in hypnosis “a few years ago, and I’ve sort of jumped back into it recently.”
She and Curtis — who boasts that he “has been a voice in the wellness world” for “two decades,” on his website — have been dating for several months, People reported in July.
He’s taught the Friends alum to do affirmations every morning, the source tells Star. “It sounds a little cheesy but it’s really helping her clear old patterns.”
He also introduced her to an herbal tea ritual “that Jen’s really loving,” says the source, adding that she’s given up her nightly glass of wine at dinner. “She’s sleeping so much better.”

The Morning Show actress has even loosened up her famously strict diet, says the source. “Jim has helped her change her patterns with food. It’s all about eating with intention, rather than banning so-called bad foods.”
As Star previously reported, Aniston, who enjoyed a July getaway to Mallorca, Spain, with Curtis, has “completely integrated him into her life.”
“Who knows if this will be a forever relationship,” adds the source, “but what’s happening right now is really beautiful, everyone’s so happy for her.”
