Dax Shepard Says Kristen Bell Is ‘Regretful’ About Not Being More ‘Sexually Active’ Before Marriage
Apparently, Kristen Bell didn’t play the field enough before settling down.
When it comes to sex, “Kristen is a little regretful,” Dax Shepard, 50, said of his wife, who was a guest on the episode of his Armchair Expert podcast that was released on Monday, September 29.
“She was very sexually active,” the actor began, as Bell laughed, “and she wishes she was even more sexually active.”
The Nobody Wants This actress, 45, added, “I just wish I butterflied around a little bit more.”
Asked by cohost Monica Padman how much action she got in her 20s on a scale of one to 10 — which Shepard described as one being “virgin” and 10 being “sex worker” — Bell gave herself a four.
“And I just wish I maybe would have gone six,” the mom of two replied.
The comedian, who she married in 2013, “brought out a ton of my sexuality,” she later said, and they agreed that Shepard grew up in a more sex-positive home. “I was never this sexual before you.”
It seems they’re raising their daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10, the same way: In 2019, Shepard talked to PureWow about being the one to tell his kids how babies are made, explaining: “We have a pretty hardcore policy of ‘We’ll just tell you how it is.’ ”
