Brooke Hogan seems to have her doubts regarding the death of her father, Hulk Hogan.
On Tuesday, August 5, Brooke, 37, called into The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, admitting she was “puzzled” by reports that the wrestling legend — who died at the age of 71 on July 24 — had leukemia, because she had been by his side during his health issues years earlier, and there was no indication of Hulk having cancer.
“They’re saying he had leukemia and I’m like, I saw his blood work every time,” she shared, noting Hulk took good care of his body. “One doctor, I quote, said, ‘His blood is like a 25-year-old.’”
“Just being through all of the surgeries, you have to do a blood panel before any major surgery — how did nobody catch a high white blood cell count? That’s what bothers me the most,” the mom of two continued, noting cancer does not run in her family. “It seems weird.”
On July 31, Page Six reported Hulk died as a result of acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, and had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib) and lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

During the chat, Bubba the Love Sponge (real name: Todd Alan Clem), 59, touched on the fact that there was no autopsy done by a medical examiner. “I think that there’s a chance there was a bad guy in the wood pile,” he said, noting one person who had visited Hulk ahead of his death said “he looked good.”
“For me, the no autopsy and the leukemia out of nowhere hits me as BS,” Brooke explained. “I would be surprised that a surgeon would work on somebody with leukemia or somebody that would see a high white blood cell count and not do further investigation first.”
When Bubba surmised that maybe there were other factors that came into play, Brooke — who claimed she had caught nurses taking photos with Hulk in the hospital and that “people” were “double dosing” him — raised questions about the people Hulk had surrounded himself with.
In fact, she revealed she once told Hulk to get cameras in his home as a way to protect himself. “I said, if you’re dating one of these bhes, [they] could push you down the stairs and nobody would ever know,” she shared.
During the conversation, Brooke also reflected on how her last conversation with Hulk gave her the “heebie jeebies” and how, when he refused to walk her down the aisle to her 2022 wedding to Steven Oleksy, it broke her heart.

As Star previously reported, Brooke opened up about her complicated relationship with her father one week after his death, noting in a lengthy Instagram post that she’d been there for nearly 25 of his surgeries, but “something shifted” at some point.
“Everything started getting covered in a thick veil,” Brooke wrote in the statement. “It was like there was a forcefield around him that I couldn’t get through.”
“I know in my heart I did everything I could,” she added. “He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did.”
