Britney Spears recently left rehab, but entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider claims he was at the same restaurant as the pop star, and she didn’t seem sober.
“Guys, I just had dinner next to Britney Spears, and it was a wild experience,” Sneider said in his Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, May 13.
The founder of The InSneider newsletter added that he went to a small restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California, where Spears, 44, was dining as well. Sneider noted that she was there with a friend and “a guy who may have been a boyfriend or love interest because she said ‘I love you.'”
“She was clearly on some sort of medication,” he continued. “I don’t know if she’d been drinking. It was like this woman who was screaming and barking and I thought she had Tourette’s, and only a few minutes later did I realize it was Britney Spears.”
Sneider went on to claim that the “Womanizer” singer “flipped her hair” onto his table and that she attempted to light a cigarette inside the restaurant. He also alleged that she “picked up a knife” at one point.

“One diner was like ‘I thought she was going to stab me,'” Sneider claimed another person said after Spears and her friends left the restaurant.
Despite the chaos, The Hot Mic podcast host said that he “loved every second of it” because he “grew up worshipping Britney Spears.”
As Star previously reported, Spears was arrested in March for driving under the influence. She then voluntarily checked herself into rehab a few weeks later on April 12. While those close to her thought she would be staying at the facility for a minimum of 90 days, she ultimately checked out a little over two weeks later on April 30.
On May 4, Spears pleaded guilty to reckless driving, according to Page Six, and she was sentenced to one year of informal probation and is required to complete 30 hours of alcohol school.
