Britney Spears could potentially face serious consequences after her DUI arrest.
The 44-year-old Princess of Pop allegedly had Adderall pills in her possession when California Highway Patrol arrested her for driving under the influence on the night of Wednesday, March 4, in Ventura, California, according to sources that spoke to TMZ.
The outlet claimed the pills are currently being tested for other substances, and if they are laced, she could do jail time.

As for how the “Toxic” hitmaker got the pills, TMZ reported she obtained them while on a trip to Mexico.
As Star previously reported, dispatched audio obtained by Page Six revealed the Grammy Award winner was driving a “2026 black BMW convertible,” swerving “in and out of lanes,” and “speeding.”
After being taken into police custody on Wednesday evening, Spears — who was in a conservatorship from 2008 to 2021 — was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail and subsequently released Thursday morning around 6 a.m., per TMZ.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life,” a representative for Spears told Star. “Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
“Her boys are going to be spending time with her,” the rep added, referring to her sonsSean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, who she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. “Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”
