Bethenny Frankel Reportedly ‘Begging’ to Make Bravo Comeback, But Andy Cohen ‘Won’t Say Her Name’

Following in NeNe Leakes‘ shoes? Bethenny Frankel wants back on Bravo, Rob Shuter reported in his Naughty But Nice Substack on Tuesday, January 20.

“Bethenny keeps calling and emailing, trying to make amends, but it’s never going to happen,” a network insider told Shuter, after the Real Housewives of New York City alum, 55, “alienated” everyone at the network, including boss Andy Cohen, 57.

“Andy won’t even say her name anymore. She’s just ‘Margarita Lady’ to him,” the insider said of the Watch What Happens Live host, who admitted in 2022 that he was feuding with the Skinnygirl founder because she was “trashing” the shows after leaving RHONY in 2019.

The January 14 announcement that RHOA alum Leakes was able to make peace with Cohen — and is coming back for Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip — gave Frankel hope, said another source.

But Cohen doesn’t appear to be ready to bury the hatchet with Frankel. On the January 5 episode of his Sirius XM show Andy Cohen Live, Cohen used the “Margarita Lady” nickname and slammed her “suffocating” TikTok videos.

“She’s begging them to give her a second chance, claiming she had the original idea for the road trip show,” the source revealed to Shuter. “But everyone knows the pitch was turned down for a reason — she’s toxic and impossible to work with.”

And other friends told Shuter that Frankel’s desperation is getting “embarrassing,” noting that even fans want her to “move on.”

“Bethenny is passionate and wants to work again,” added another pal. “She really does love the business and just wants another shot, but the bridge has been burned beyond repair.”
