Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) is a multihyphenate you won’t find on LinkedIn — she’s a ballerina-slash-assassin trained in the combat traditions of the Ruska Romani people.

In this literal spinoff of the über-popular action series, she trades in her toe shoes for an arsenal of weapons to pirouette her way to revenge on the people who killed her family.

Keanu Reeves only makes a cameo, but Ballerina has all the other John Wick trademarks — elaborately choreographed fight scenes, dramatic shootouts, exotic locations and a high body count. Who says girls can’t kick ass?
