Alix Earle is known for being TikTok’s glamorous golden girl, offering refreshingly honest and wildly relatable advice — and she doesn’t away from showing the mishaps of her beauty journey.
The influencer, 24, got emotional while discussing her choice to get veneers right after she graduated college in a new video posted to the social media platform on Wednesday, July 2.
Earle began her storytime by revealing that she chipped her front tooth earlier in the day while chatting with actress Kate Hudson at a social event on the Ritz-Carlton cruise line.
Earle was enjoying a margarita out of a straw at the time. “Well, I guess… veneer reveal,” she shared.
The internet personality noted that she never wanted to post about it “because I immediately feel like I regretted it and I never want to influence people to do something that I don’t think they should do.”
In the video, she’s seen filing down the veneer to get rid of the sharp edge temporarily before making a trip to her dentist back on land.
Earle went on to share more details about her smile, mentioning a bike crash she had in childhood which knocked her teeth out of place. She later got Invisalign to fix her smile after never getting braces while growing up.
“They actually looked really good but I never wore the retainer so they ended up shifting a little bit but I always loved my teeth, like I always had really, really good teeth,” she said.
Earle opted to get composite bonding on her lateral incisors, but the bonding would constantly “crack off” when she would grind her teeth during sleep. She later decided to get veneers on just her lateral incisors.

The TikToker said she was advised to get veneers on all six of her front teeth, along with four bottom teeth, to achieve a cohesive result and a picture-perfect smile.
“I don’t know why I listened to that because originally that’s not what I wanted,” Earle revealed. “So I went in for two teeth and I basically left with 10.”
Earle fought back tears while revealing she should’ve trusted her gut to stick with what she originally wanted.
“When am I not crying?” the model quipped while composing herself as she did her makeup. “I really regretted it right away and I think it was really scary for me and I was like, ‘What did I just do?’”
“End of the day, whatever, it was my decision but I feel like it was kind of those decisions that was made pretty fast and I just didn’t think it all the way through or talk to enough people,” she clarified.
Earle explained that she wanted to be open about her journey at this point and tell her followers to embrace their natural teeth.
“It’s not that I ever tried to hide it,” Earle continued. “Like, I never said like, ‘Oh I don’t have that.’ I just never came forward and said it because I really, really regretted it and I did not want to influence anyone to do it because I don’t think that you should.”
Fans showed support to Earle in the comment section, praising her candor. “This was humanizing, honestly,” one person wrote. “I appreciate this transparency.”
