The young and talented Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s struggle is finally over.
The actress, singer, and heiress was pronounced dead on Sunday, July 26, at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Atlanta, GA.
Aunt Pat Houston made a statement to ABC News about Whitney Houston’s daughter’s passing:
“Bobbi Kristina Brown has passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
After Bobbi Kristina was found in her home face down, unresponsive in the bathtub on January 31, her nearly 6-month battle in a medically-induced coma has finally come to an end. Her family, including father Bobby Brown, made many visits to be with her as she struggled to hang on to life.
At just 22 years old, Bobbi Kristina leaves her world of acting and singing behind, but her family will go on to remember her as the talented and lively girl they knew and loved. Bobbi Kristina’s late mother Whitney Houston passed just three years ago, who was also found unresponsive in a bathtub due to an accidental drowning, according to the coroner’s report.
Bobbi Kristina had a successful career as an actor and singer, despite the media presence included as part of her childhood due to her renowned singer-parents. She often sang alongside her mother, the legendary pop singer, and was often seen on television as herself. She got her fist big break in TV in 2012 from close family friend Tyler Perry on his show For Better or Worse, who was also spotted visiting the hospice nearly a couple of weeks ago.
Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was recently served with a $10 million lawsuit around July 15. He is being accused of beating Bobbi Kristina and stealing from her after her potentially fatal medical crisis.
