This feud is ON! More than a month after Drake called out Jay Z for his use of art references in raps, Beyonce’s husband is firing back.
“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references,” the “Too Much” rapper told Rolling Stone in February. “I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”
Jay was anything but subtle in his response, which comes in a verse on his new track “We Made It.” “Sorry Miss Drizzy for so much art talk,” the 44-year-old raps. “Silly me, rappin’ bout s— that I really bought, while these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot, and a bunch of other silly s— that they ain’t got.”
Burn.
