Clare Crawley’s smooth moves to win the heart of Juan Pablo Galavis on The Bachelor has made her Public Enemy No. 1 among her fellow contestants. After dominating JP’s time on group dates and sneaking him away for an unscheduled midnight swim, the show finalist wasn’t exactly popular with the other women — and this may not be the first time she’s been in a heated dispute over a man!
According to Sacramento Superior Court documents, obtained by Star, then 18-year-old Clare asked for an order of protection against a former schoolmate named Jennifer in 1998. In the document, the now 32-year-old claimed Jennifer had confronted her multiple times outside her apartment and “threatened to physically harm me.”
The reason for the alleged threats wasn’t made clear, but Clare added that her classmate would call her crude obscenities, like “f—–g s-ut,” that seemingly indicate a flare-up over a boy.
“Hopefully, that episode in Clare’s life died down without any trouble,” an insider tells Star. “But judging by her conduct on The Bachelor, she probably didn’t learn any life lessons about romantic ethics.”
