It’s here! Although we first saw the world’s newest royal, Prince George, one day after his July 22 birth, the future King has resurfaced for the first time since in a new family photo. The shot shows proud parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, with their newborn, cocker spaniel, Lupo, and the Middleton’s family dog, Tilly.
Breaking tradition once again, the royal couple had the photograph taken informally by Kate’s dad, Michael Middleton. The Duke of Cambridge looked casual, but neat, in a blue button down and jeans, while the Duchess stunned in a fuchsia Seraphine dress, holding the one-month-old swaddled in a white blanket.
The photo’s release comes just after Prince William’s first sit-down interview since the birth of his son. “He either reminds me of my brother [Prince Harry] or me when I was younger, I’m not sure, but he’s doing very well at the moment,” he revealed.
The family is still currently staying at the Middleton’s home in Bucklebery, Berkshire.
