Evan Rachel Wood announced the birth of her and Jamie Bell’s first child on Twitter Monday, and just a day later, she revealed more details about her birthing experience.
The actress shared that she had a natural birth at home, and there’s another star she’s thanking for the idea to do so. “I have to say thank you @RickiLake for your inspiring documentary “the business of being born,”” Evan wrote. “I never knew I had a choice when it came to labor. It taught me so much & aided my decision in having a natural home birth which my son & I are now forever grateful for.”
Ricki responded to Evan’s post, obviously grateful that her documentary inspired someone. “@evanrachelwood You are so welcome. Overjoyed to hear you had a positive birth experience & a beautiful son! : )#BOBB xo,” she tweeted.
Evan and Jamie have yet to reveal the baby’s name, weight or actual birthdate.
