On Wednesday, it was announced that Miley Cyrus will be the face of Marc Jacobs’ spring/summer 2014 collection. While the designer has a great relationship with the 21-year-old, though, his longtime photographer, Juergen Teller, isn’t too thrilled about this decision.
In fact, he even refused to take the photographs for the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s ad campaign. “I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist,” Marc admitted. “He just didn’t want to shoot her.”
Marc, however, had nothing but great things to say about his new star. “We all just love her and her entire being, her talent, her intelligence, everything,” he said. “There’s nothing I don’t like about her. She is just genuine and very natural.”
It seems that Miley, too, is excited about the collaboration. She shared two photos from her shoot on Twitter, captioned in capital letters and heart symbols.
