WATCH: Miranda & Blake's Touching Oklahoma Tribute on The Voice

Blake Shelton is an Oklahoma native, so when devastating tornados sped through his home state on Monday, the tragedy hit especially close to home. To honor the victims, Blake and his wife Miranda Lambert performed a touching tribute on Tuesday’s live episode of The Voice.

The country power couple performed Miranda’s song “Over You,” which they wrote together. Fitting the situation, they changed a lyric of the hit song to: “It really sinks in, you know, when it’s so close to home.” Although the couple spends a lot of time on the road, one of their homes is located in Oklahoma.

Check out the beautiful performance:

After the moment was up, though, the show went on and Blake returned to his duties as a coach. Luckily, all three of his remaining contestants were safe from the night’s elimination. Unfortunately for rookie coaches Shakira and Usher, they each lost another singer, Kris Thomas and Josiah Hawley, respectively, leaving them each with just one contestant left. Like Blake, fellow three-season veteran Adam Levine still has three in the running.
